What it means to be an Oklahoma Democrat: Point 7
The Oklahoma Democratic Party believes that the rest of the world does matter, and that we ought to work hard to promote a positive image of Americans abroad. Democrats have a long and strong record of reaching out to the rest of the world and showing that we not only welcome our membership in the international community, but that we can lead it responsibly.
I agree we should be open to every visitor to our state. Show everyone why Oklahoma is one of the best places to be.But what as Oklahomans can we do to show the world that Oklahoma is a great place?
I’m sure the centennial celebrations will highlight quite nicely, but what happens in 2008?
I’m sure this topic could be visited again a bit later.
Well this wraps up my thoughts on the 7 points on being and Oklahoma Democrat. I hope these last few posts at least have given you a something to think about.
